The XJ / MJ Steering box is a pretty frustrating and poorly designed setup.
From the factory, a cast aluminum spacer was added to gain clearance around the box. Over time the aluminum reacts with the steel and can seize to the 3 steering box bolts. What does this mean? Usually broken bolts in your steering box and many cuss words. Our steel spacers fix this problem and offer increased strength over the cast aluminum pieces.
